Dear All,I want to install Oracle 10.2 on Window Server 2008 but when i start the Oracle installation then I am getting following error. Starting Oracle Universal Installer.Checking installer requirements.Checking operating system version: must be 5.1 or 5.2. Actual 6.0Failed. Dear databaseSAP.1st.now i have download the Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.3/10.2.0.4)Enterprise/Standard Edition for Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7from following link and just overwrite the db folder of D51031678NTAMD64-database. Now oracle installation is running fine.2nd.I downloaded the DVD ( 51036975- ORACLE 10.2.0.4 Failsafe Server 3.4.1.5 Windows 2008 ) and run the sapserver.cmd which is running fine.what do you say about above methods mean both are ok if not then guide me about method of oracle 10.2 on window server 2008?Regards,majamil.
